During the pandemic, we began creating a series of video-poems, inspired by Kahlil Gibran’s beautiful book, The Prophet.  We wanted to connect artists and audiences across distance, even while our live-theatre productions were paused.  We approached each video like a devised theatre project, gathering online to read the poem and create movement, music, and stories to express its essence.  Out of these playful meetings grew our own interpretations of Gibran’s 1923 masterpiece, designed to illuminate its profound themes.
