Tilmann completed his acting education at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna and Conservatoire D’Art Dramatique in Paris. While still a student, he was hired by the Burgtheater. After a further engagement at the Stadttheater Giessen, his dream to found his own theatre was realized. There then followed a short, intense time playing the lead role of Bernd Hoffmeister in German TV series, ‘Unter Uns’, leaving after two years. He played theatre again taking roles in Theatre of Eternal Values’ inaugural production of Moliere’s The Imaginary Invalid and also began to work as a director, including Mozart’s The Magic Flute as part of Theatre of Eternal Values in New York.
As an actor, director and screen writer he has since worked for various television series, including ‘Alles was zählt’ and ‘Verbotene Liebe’ and also teaches acting to students of the art.
