Il Culture of the Spirit Festival torna a Roma con la sua quarta edizione, “Oneness”, ospitata negli straordinari spazi del Museo Nazionale Etrusco di Villa Giulia, con il patrocinio del Municipio di Roma.

Il festival celebra lo Spirito come fonte universale di ispirazione creativa, attraverso musica, danza, poesia, arte, conferenze, workshop e meditazione.

Al centro di tutto vi è la visione di Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, la cui ispirazione guida questo progetto nel mostrare come la meditazione e la connessione interiore possano trasformarsi in creatività, conoscenza e bellezza condivisa, generando — come disse Shri Mataji — “una nuova percezione audiovisiva in cui la mente e il cuore sono uniti”.

Il Culture of the Spirit Festival è più di un evento: è un invito a riscoprire la cultura come veicolo dello Spirito, a costruire ponti tra patrimonio locale e armonia globale, e a risvegliare la luce del Sé in ogni individuo.

Anna Ronniger

Anna is a Russian singer and composer who lives in Austria and specializes in Indian classical music and Bhajan. Trained with great Indian masters, she performs at international festivals, using song as a path to meditation and inner balance. Alongside her concert activity, she is passionately devoted to teaching, passing on the structure and spiritual depth of this ancient tradition to new generations — a voice that unites cultures and spirit.

Anton Pyvovarov

Ukrainian saxophonist and composer Anton Pyvovarov stands out for his rare stylistic versatility, ranging from classical rigor to jazz freedom. Having refined his craft at New York's New School University under the legendary Chico Hamilton, he has developed extraordinary improvisational daring. Now active in Austria, Pyvovarov composes for jazz ensembles and electronic formations, earning major international nominations. At the Culture of the Spirit Festival, the vibrant voice of his saxophone becomes the heart of an intense sonic conversation, uniting technical mastery with pure introspection and collective meditation.

Attolico Vertunni

Attolico Vertunni is an innovative Italian musical duo born from the meeting of sitarist Leo Vertunni and sound designer Adriano Attolico. The project proposes an unprecedented dialogue between the millennia-old Indian classical tradition and avant-garde electronics, blending traditional strings with digital circuits. In their performances, Attolico's hypnotic textures and deep frequencies welcome Vertunni's sitar, generating a sound impact that is strongly cinematic, fluid and free of exoticism. The duo debuted in late 2025 on Instant Crush Records with their first single, Dark Shimmer.

Carlo Gizzi

Carlo Gizzi is an Italian composer, pianist and producer. His work blends symphonic music, cinematic sound and contemporary exploration, merging piano, strings and electronics into immersive soundscapes. Trained in classical and modern piano, improvisation and composition, he performs as a soloist, composer and conductor. He is among the founders and directors of the Divine Symphony Orchestra and the Narada Ensemble, as well as musical director of TEV-International. He has composed and arranged music for film, advertising and concerts, alongside an intense career in teaching and musical coaching.

Gianni Rossi

Composer and multi-instrumentalist Gianni Rossi, from Pavia, stands out on the contemporary scene for his mastery of the Brač, a traditional Balkan stringed instrument. After beginning his career in the Italian rock scene alongside bands such as Afterhours and Marlene Kuntz, he turned his research toward traditional Indian sound and improvisation. With his project Open Circle, he reinterprets bhajans in an instrumental, meditative key.

Guido Laurenzi

Roman multi-instrumentalist Guido Laurenzi plays the Mohan Veena, the Indian sympathetic-stringed guitar that, in his hands, becomes a bridge between East and West. His artistic path translates this fusion into an immersive journey dedicated to the five universal elements. The fluid, hypnotic sound of the instrument breaks down cultural barriers, turning the concert into a collective celebration where musical energy becomes a vehicle for pure introspection and deep inner connection.

Isaac Peña

Percussionist Isaac Peña, from Seville, radiates an unbounded, sweeping energy, blending the roots of flamenco cajón with jazz and Afro-Caribbean polyrhythms. Trained in classical percussion and transverse flute, he has collaborated with icons such as Jorge Pardo and regularly tours with the international project Indialucía, led by Miguel Czachowski. Founder of the Espacio y Ritmo center, Peña combines instrumental mastery with deep inner searching, where groove becomes a vehicle for contagious joy and universal connection.

Leo Vertunni

Leo Vertunni is an Italian sitarist of English origin, performing regularly across Europe and the US, as well as in Mexico, Colombia, Benin, China and India. He holds a degree in Oriental History and Civilization from the University of Bologna and a Master's in Music Performance from SOAS, University of London (2017). Since 2019 he has taught at the Pedrollo Conservatory in Vicenza, and has produced radio programs on Indian music for RAI and RSI. He has given lecture-demonstrations at institutions including Rome's Santa Cecilia Academy, and worked as a session musician for artists released on Universal and Sony Music. He is currently a PhD candidate in Artistic Research at Rome's Santa Cecilia Conservatory.

Machindranath Cesetti

Machindranath Cesetti, trained in Western classical violin, has undertaken a profound devotional journey into Hindustani classical music. His path unfolds through intensive vocal study with Vidushi Mahua Mukherjee and violin study with Pandit Manas Kumar, expressive research further enriched by tabla player Pandit Manish Madankar. Guided by the spiritual style of legendary masters such as Dr. N. Rajam, Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty and Pandit Jasraj, Cesetti infuses his instrument with a rare vocal quality.

Manish Madankar

Tabla master Manish Madankar expresses an extraordinary rhythmic sensitivity that has taken him from India to some of the most prestigious stages in Asia and Europe. His remarkable versatility has led him to collaborate with icons of classical and acoustic fusion music such as Ken Zuckerman and the Indialucía collective. A former lecturer in music theory and tabla at the University of Mumbai, officially recognized by the Indian government, he now lives in Rome. At the Culture of the Spirit Festival, his percussive mastery weaves a hypnotic, sweeping sonic tapestry, transforming rhythm into a vehicle for pure spiritual elevation.

Miguel Czachowski

Miguel Czachowski is a flamenco guitarist, composer, arranger and producer. Founder of Viva Flamenco! and creator of Indialucía, a project uniting flamenco and Indian classical music. For over thirty years he has taken his musical research to 36 countries across four continents, collaborating with artists such as Trilok Gurtu, Jorge Pardo, Carles Benavent and L. Subramaniam. His album Indialucía won the Wirtualne Gęśle award and the title of Folkowy Fonogram Roku, with a Fryderyk nomination. He has received the Golden Europea and the title of Ambassador of Culture of Tychy. Founder of the CM Records label, in 2026 he earned a doctorate in the arts on flamenco guitar and Indian musical tradition.

Monia Giovannangeli

Monia Giovannangeli is an Italian author, director and theatre therapist, artistic director of the Culture of the Spirit Festival since its first edition in 2008. Trained at Rome's National Academy of Dance, in 1996 she co-founded the international company Theatre of Eternal Values (TEV), where she remains artistic director. With TEV, she has written and performed productions touring Europe, the United States and Asia. She has curated adaptations of the Mahabharata and the Ramayana, as well as original works exploring social and gender themes, such as Shakespeare's Women, Ali and Le vergini giurate.

Rachelle Jeanty

Rachelle Jeanty is a Montréal-based Haitian-Canadian singer, songwriter, speaker and meditation facilitator with over 30 years of international experience. A former backing vocalist for Céline Dion on a two year world tour, Rachelle has recorded five albums as a solo artist and performed at TEDx. For over 15 years, her journey through Sahaja Meditation has deepened her exploration of consciousness through music and meditation. Her Spirit of Joy concerts and singing workshops have travelled across Europe, Kenya and Taiwan, creating spaces of connection, joy and inner awakening. She is co-founder of Circle of Joy Sisters for Sisters, recently bringing 2,000 women together singing her songs of female solidarity, at the Vienna State Opera.

Ruslan Pashynsky

Ruslan Pashynskyi is a Ukrainian multi-instrumentalist, arranger and educator, active in Italy since 2007. A clarinet graduate and orchestral conducting graduate from Kyiv, he has built a versatile international career spanning world music and jazz. A specialist in saxophone, clarinet and ethnic flutes, he is co-founder of the renowned ensemble The Heavenly River, a pioneering project weaving Slavic folk melodies and Indian classical music (raga) into complex traditional rhythmic structures. Alongside his concert career, he teaches with passion at the International Arts Academy of Cabella Ligure, where he coordinates innovative workshops in improvisation and stylistic fusion for new generations of musicians.

Shivangi Cancean

From Romania to the West Coast, pianist Shivangi Cancean built her artistic path through a prestigious Fulbright scholarship and an M.F.A. earned at UC Irvine, training alongside legends such as Kei Akagi (Miles Davis) and Kojiro Umezaki, which shaped her personal style. She has performed at major international festivals, including the Enescu Festival in Bucharest and the "Women at the Piano" International Conference in California. She has collaborated with the Philharmonic Society of Orange County and the Hour of Power Choir, performing works by Shawn Kirchner and Ola Gjeilo. She also cultivates Indian and Sufi music with the International Qawwali Sisters Ensemble, performing with them across Europe.

Tatiana Rasa

Lithuanian soprano Tatiana Rasa combines outstanding vocal virtuosity with profound dramatic depth. After successes in Germany and Austria, she became a leading performer at the Voronezh State Opera, delivering memorable interpretations of iconic heroines such as Tatiana (Eugene Onegin), Iolanta, Rusalka, Marguerite (Faust) and Micaëla (Carmen), earning prestigious international awards. Alongside the traditional operatic repertoire, she cultivates a refined concert career between India and Italy. At the Culture of the Spirit Festival in Rome, the purity of her Western voice becomes a vehicle for an intimate, universal spiritual exploration.

Tim Bruce

Tim Bruce is an award-winning British actor, musical-theatre singer and celebrated audiobook narrator. His eclectic career includes prestigious collaborations with the Tara Arts theatre company and numerous leading roles for London's Music Theatre, among which a celebrated portrayal of Don Giovanni stands out, alongside his participation in major West End musical productions such as Blood Brothers. He has also appeared in film and television productions including The Crown, The King's Man and The King of Thieves.

Tommaso Gizzi

Tommaso is a young singer-songwriter who grew up surrounded by countless instruments and books on every kind of spirituality. Since childhood he has loved writing — poems, stories, songs — and playing guitar and piano, and more recently the sitar. His desire is to seek a harmonious balance between sound and words, so that the beauty of the love he feels can be fully expressed. His words and music are soft and gentle, telling of the coexistence of man and nature, and of those small details the eye sometimes fails to catch — details that can quietly change a person, and so change the world.

Victor Vertunni

Born in London, Victor Vertunni is a versatile actor, singer-songwriter and voiceover artist. A graduate in theatre studies, he co-founded the Theatre of Eternal Values, an international touring company. Celebrated for his acclaimed musical adaptations of William Blake's poetic masterpieces, Vertunni blends acting and song in performances of profound lyricism. His versatility has taken him to stages across Europe, the United States and China, alongside his role as co-artistic director of the renowned Culture of the Spirit Festival in Cabella Ligure. A warm voice capable of translating poetry into pure universal harmony.

Zeynep Rusu

Zeynep Rusu is a Turkish trumpeter, educator and researcher specializing in solo and chamber music repertoire. She earned her Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) and Master of Music (MM) in Trumpet Performance from the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati and the College of Music at Michigan State University in the United States. She has performed as a soloist with symphony orchestras and has toured the United States, Australia and Europe. Active in teaching, she leads seminars and masterclasses at conservatories and sits on international juries. She is currently professor of trumpet at Anadolu University's State Conservatory in Turkey.

Orchestra Divine Symphony

Founded in 2014 by composers and conductors Carlo Gizzi, Emmanuel Schultz and Tuomas Kantelinen, the Divine Symphony Orchestra is an international musical ensemble dedicated to exploring harmony through symphonic and contemporary languages. Its repertoire weaves the great classical tradition together with jazz, film music, world music and other genres, in a path oriented toward crossing musical boundaries. The orchestra has developed live productions, recording projects and multimedia collaborations, valuing research and experimentation. Alongside this activity is the Jazz Ensemble Divine Symphony, a section dedicated to the meeting of scholarly composition, improvisation and jazz sound.
