Discover the joy of rhythm through the cajón, a simple yet powerful instrument that brings people together through groove, listening, and collective energy.

In this course, we’ll explore the fundamentals of cajón playing in a relaxed, dynamic, and interactive atmosphere. Through rhythm exercises, body percussion, improvisation, and ensemble playing, participants will develop coordination, timing, musicality, and confidence.

Together we’ll work on:

• basic cajón techniques and hand positions
• rhythm, pulse, and groove
• traditional and contemporary rhythms
• dynamics and musical expression
• listening and playing as a group
• improvisation and rhythmic creativity
• combining movement, rhythm, and fun

Open to complete beginners as well as intermediate and advanced players, this course is about enjoying rhythm in a natural and accessible way. No previous percussion experience needed.
